Singa Discovery Station: Setup and Use with Singa Business Lite

Learn how your customers can send song requests directly from an iPad to your queue.

Singa Discovery Station is an excellent way to make song requests effortless. Instead of coming to the counter, customers can browse the song library and send requests directly from a separate iPad themselves.

Here’s how to set up Singa Discovery Station for Singa Business Lite:

1. Log in to the management dashboard

On your computer, go to lite.singa.com and log in with your business credentials (email address and password).

2. Activate song requests and check the access code

  1. Click Settings in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Song Requests.

  3. Toggle Song Requests to On.

  4. You will see an access code on this page. Note down this code; you will need it in the next step.

3. Prepare the iPad for the venue

  1. Set up the iPad you wish to make available for customer use.

  2. Open the Safari browser on the iPad and go to www.singa.com/discovery.

  • Tip: To make the app run professionally in full-screen mode without the browser address bar, tap the Share icon (square with an upward arrow) and select Add to Home Screen. This way, the Discovery Station will appear as its own app on the iPad’s home screen.

4. Connect Discovery Station to your venue

  1. Open Singa Discovery from the iPad's home screen.

  2. Enter the access code you noted down earlier in step 2.

5. Start receiving song requests!

Everything is now ready! Customers can browse Singa’s extensive song library on the iPad and send requests directly to the queue.
