Recommended settings for automated karaoke (Singa Pro Web)

Singa Pro Web offers a variety of settings to tailor the karaoke experience to your specific needs. Below are the recommended settings for a hands-off, largely automated experience. This allows your staff to concentrate on serving guests and managing the floor while Singa takes care of the song flow and queue management.

You can adjust these settings at any time to find the perfect setup for your venue.

Core Automation Settings

  • Auto Play (Recommended: ON): Found under Settings (gear icon) > General. When enabled, the next song in the queue automatically starts playing immediately after the previous one ends. This is essential for a continuous, automated karaoke experience.
  • Auto Accept (Recommended: ON): Found under Settings > Song requests. Automatically adds mobile requests straight to your queue. If disabled, requests are sent to the Pending tab on your main dashboard, requiring staff to manually accept them.

Song Request Settings Navigate to Settings > Song requests to configure how customers interact with your queue:

  • Require singer's name (Recommended: ON): Forces the singer to type their name before submitting a request, helping the host or audience know who is up next.
  • Requests per guest (Recommended: 3): Limits how many pending requests a single guest can have in the queue at one time. The default is 3 songs per guest to prevent spamming.
  • Allow explicit songs (Up to you): Toggle whether you want to allow guests to request songs marked as explicit.

Player & Dashboard Controls Use the Right Panel on your main dashboard to manage the live flow:

  • Background music (Recommended: ON): Toggle this on to automatically play music between karaoke songs, ensuring there is no awkward silence in your venue.
  • Song Requests Toggle: Use the toggle switch at the very bottom of the right panel to instantly turn customer requests on or off without digging into the main settings menu.

Daily Queue Maintenance

  • Clear queue: At the end of each karaoke session, navigate to the Queue tab in the middle column. Click the three dots (...) at the top of the queue and select clear to remove all remaining songs. This gives you a fresh start for your next event.
