Can I use Singa without an access to internet?
Singa is a streaming service, so having a good internet connection is essential. We recommend a DSL or Fibre-optic connection of at least 20 megabytes. A stable internet connection and the speed of the internet are equally important.
To check the internet connection on your iPad, follow these steps:
1. Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Open Settings: Tap the Settings app on the Home screen.
- Tap Wi-Fi: Check if your iPad is connected to a Wi-Fi network. If not, select an available network and enter the password if required.
- Connection Status: If you see a checkmark next to a Wi-Fi network, you're connected.
2. Test Internet Access:
- Open Safari or any web browser and try loading a webpage. If the page loads, your internet connection is active.
- Alternatively, you can open any app that requires internet access to test it.
If you don't have access to internet, you can still use Singa in the Offline Mode. This mode allows you to download karaoke songs for offline use. We only recommend this in emergency situations as you will not be able to use all the features or play all the songs. Also, note that you need an internet connection to download songs.
How to use Offline mode:
- Enable Offline Mode: First, you need to turn on Background Downloads in the app's settings to download the song catalog to your device.
- Use Offline Mode: Once the songs are downloaded, you can access them without an active internet connection.
Keep in mind that enabling background downloads and having limited storage might quickly fill up your device. If storage becomes an issue, you can delete and reinstall Singa Pro from the App Store.
