Day-to-day maintenance and service for Singa Pro Web

Follow these best practices to avoid errors and ensure the smoothest possible karaoke experience running Singa Pro on your browser.

Internet Connection

  • Use a wired connection: For the most stable performance on a computer, we highly recommend using a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi.
  • Speed requirements: We recommend an internet connection speed of at least 20 Mbps. While Singa works on slower connections, loading times and video quality may be affected.
  • Test your speed: You can check your current network speed at fast.com.

Browser and System Updates

  • Update Google Chrome: We highly recommend using Google Chrome for Singa Pro Web. Ensure your browser is always updated to the latest version. In Chrome, click the three dots in the top right corner > Help > About Google Chrome to check for and install updates.
  • OS Updates: Keep your computer’s operating system (Windows or macOS) up to date to prevent audio or display driver compatibility issues.

Hardware & Audio Troubleshooting

  • Power: Keep your laptop connected to a power source during karaoke sessions to prevent sudden shutdowns or automatic power-saving modes that might interrupt playback.
  • No audio: Check that your audio cables (HDMI, USB audio interface, or 3.5mm jack) are securely plugged into the computer and the mixer. Ensure the correct output device is selected in your computer's overall system sound settings and that the volume is not muted.
  • Optimize performance: Close any heavy background applications or unnecessary browser tabs that might consume your computer's memory or network bandwidth while running Singa.

How to restart or refresh Singa Pro Web

If the web player becomes unresponsive or fails to load new requests, you can easily refresh the session:

  • Hard Refresh: Press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) to force the browser to reload the page and clear temporary glitches.
  • Clear Cache: If a refresh doesn't work, clear your browser's cache. In Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac), select "Cached images and files", and click "Clear data". Then log back in.
  • Restart the browser: Close the Google Chrome window completely and reopen it.
